1. need to do a solar study on the home
2. consider the garden and its access to sun light 
3. consider a porch with southern exposure in the “aspen forest”
4. like the approach from garage to above ground “aspen forest”, but consider the cool temperatures of that space 
5. consider opening to mountain through glazing and by allowing the street and sidewalk to shape that facade
